22 Mar March Was Showtime at Power-Packer
At Power-Packer, March roared in like a lion in more ways than one. Along with cold winter weather, we had a brisk schedule with participation at two key industry events. Power-Packer exhibited at both The Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, IN, from March 6-9, and at AGG1 in Houston, TX, from March 6-8. Thanks to everyone who visited our booth at either of these shows.
The Work Truck Show 2018, Indianapolis, IN
A record crowd of 13,570 industry professionals turned out for The Work Truck Show 2018 earlier this month, drawn by an unprecedented six vehicle launches from North America’s leading commercial truck manufacturers, more than 175 other new product introductions and an expanded educational conference. Power-Packer was proud to be a part of the 2018 show — the largest event in the history of NTEA – The Association for the Work Truck Industry. This is our fourth year exhibiting at The Work Truck Show.
Show attendees were able to see how Power-Packer’s customizable hydraulic outrigger systems stabilize a vehicle. Specifically designed for work truck applications, our outrigger systems provide safe, secure support for crane trucks with a lift capacity up to 14,000 lbs. and up to a 42″ outrigger extension. We offer 2.25” and 3.0” bore hydraulic stabilization legs, in square or round configuration, with a long, power-out cylinder for fast and reliable outrigger extension.
The Power-Packer booth also featured our hydraulic cab tilt systems, which can be perfectly matched to meet the weight and specs of your cab. Today, many medium duty trucks used in urban settings have a cab-over engine design for easier maneuverability. Power-Packer’s hydraulic system allows operators to easily tilt and secure larger cabs. ”This was a banner year for attendance at the show and in the Power-Packer booth,” commented Ann Roche, product marketing manager for Power-Packer. “It was great to see so many of our current customers and meet new prospects looking for customizable outriggers that will fit seamlessly onto their trucks.” Power-Packer was one of more than 500 exhibitors at The Work Truck Show, a list which includes just about every truck body builder or chassis supplier in the truck industry. AGG1 2018, Houston, TX
On March 6-8, thousands of industry leaders and decision makers from across the global aggregate industry convened in Houston for the AGG1 2018 show. One of over 350 exhibitors, Power-Packer was there showcasing how our hydraulic stabilization legs bring safety, reliability and efficiency to mobile rock crushing platforms.
Power-Packer offers 4”, 5” and 6” bore hydraulic stabilization legs for leveling and holding mobile crushing plants in the field. At AGG1, we showcased our 6” hydraulic stabilization stiff leg, which features a secondary locking device to provide mechanical holding and up to a 70,000 lbs. hydraulic load rating. Attendees also discovered the features and benefits of our 4” hydraulic stabilization leg with a 37,000 lbs. hydraulic load rating. Both legs are widely used in the construction industry, specifically for safe and dependable stabilization of mobile rock crushing plants.
